July 4 Fireworks to celebrate Independence Day across U.S.A.

The U.S.A. is getting ready to celebrate its Independence Day on July 4 with fireworks, pomp, and shows across the country. Communities will hold special celebrations in the states of New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

The East River will be the focus of attention with The 47th annual Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks being held there. It will begin with Macy’s signature pyro technique at 9.25 P.M. It will also launch 600,000 shells from five barges across the river. There will be shells of 30 different colors and shapes. New York Police Department will plan for the public viewing.

In Brooklyn, the celebrations will be held at Fort Hamilton Army Base Engeldrum Bluff. Astoria Early Independence Day Celebration will be held at Astoria Park Great Lawn in Queens.


Bronx will hold Orchard Beach Early Independence Day Celebration at Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park on June 29. Staten Island will have Empire Outlets 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at Empire Outlets on July 4.

Connecticut will hold elaborate fireworks at Bridgeport, Danbury, Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Stratford, Stamford, Westfort, and other places.

Similarly, New York State Fireworks will be held at Brewster, Clarkstown, Cornwall, Greenwood Lake, Kingston, Montgomery, New Rochelle, and other places.

July 4 is a federal holiday, and it is observed as Independence Day to commemorate the day when the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, ratified the Declaration of Independence and establishment of up the U.S.A.
