Jordan Peele refuses to recognise self as G.O.A.T in movies' horror genre

American actor and filmmaker Jordan Peele has refused to recognise himself as the Greatest of All-Time (G.O.A.T.) in horror genre. Peele has established a steady place for himself in the past few years. His films, such as Get Out and Us, have greatly helped in his escalating success.

Due to his impressive roles, his die-hard fans have no hesitation in calling him (G.O.A.T). However, there is only one person, who is not ok with it and that person is Jordan Peele himself. This may also mean that he is quite humble of whatever success he has got over the years and is still having his head held up high for more work to come and more dreams to achieve.

Today, one of his fans exaggerated a little too much on social media, saying that although it is known as a hot take but Jordan Peele is the all-time best horror film director. Further, the fan asked if others could name any other horror director, having had three great films in a row with such heavy success rate and a classic history, as he couldn't.


One of the greatest in horror genre
The fan's remark generally underwhelmed John Carpenter's Halloween series, including the very well-known and considered one of the best movies in horror genre, The Thing and many more. His movies inspired the filmmakers of today's generation, which is why he is the best-known name in the genre.

People's reaction to the statement
As the people on the online platform started pointing out the era of John Carpenter's classics, the fan didn't back away from defending his point. He agreed to the Halloween series being a classic among the other horror series, but as for John's other horror movies, he did not have a great opinion of them. Surely, he has made some brilliant movies, but they don't qualify for the classic level for him.

How did Peele deal with it?
