Jordan McSweeney pleads guilty to killing law graduate Zara Aleena

Jordan McSweeney stood at the Old Bailey on Friday when he confessed to killing Zara Aleena in Ilford, east London after she was severely kicked, stamped on, and left for dead.

Jordan McSweeney pleaded guilty to the murder of law graduate Zara Aleena. Jordan McSweeney faced the Old Bailey on Friday and acknowledged killing Aleena, who was severely kicked and stamped on before being left for dead on June 26 this year.

The 29-year-old offender, who had preyed on other women before preying on Aleena, also pleaded guilty to sexual abuse. Aleena was returning home from a night out with friends in Ilford, east London, when McSweeney assaulted her.

According to prosecutors, the 35-year-old lady "had no chance" as the murderer pulled her into a driveway before stomping and stamping on her. According to the court, McSweeney attacked the law graduate and stole her phone, keys, and purse.
