Jordan Love didn’t need to throw a touchdown pass to get people talking before the Green Bay Packers’ home opener. The quarterback made quite an entrance at Lambeau Field, stepping into the stadium in a custom jacket reportedly worth a staggering $200,000. Love wore the head-turning piece ahead of Green Bay’s Thursday Night Football matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Featuring more than 500 KAY diamonds, the sparkling jacket quickly transformed his tunnel walk into one of the night’s biggest pregame talking points.

As reported by Yahoo! Sports, the jacket did not come from an existing wardrobe. Rather, it was created especially for Love by fashion brand Public School New York in cooperation with KAY Jewelers using high-quality lambskin leather tanned with vegetables that came from Italy. Love matched the jacket with a more low-profile wardrobe. He wore black pants and a white shirt with a black tie and sunglasses along with it.



The look is not just a random one as it had a deeper connection to Love. According to the media outlet, the Packers star has partnered with KAY, and the custom jacket forms part of the jewelry company’s newly rebranded 'Love All In' platform. Fans at Lambeau were able to get involved in the campaign as well. KAY set up its Diamond Truth Booth mobile experience outside Sideline Sports & Social before the game. Visitors were encouraged to share what makes them 'love all in', with participants getting an opportunity to win a diamond. Unsurprisingly, Love’s arrival quickly caught the attention of fans online, with his diamond-loaded tunnel look generating plenty of buzz across social media.


On the match front, Bijan Robinson’s huge night helped Atlanta secure its first victory of the NFL season after opening the campaign with back-to-back losses. Green Bay witnessed a frustrating evening with boos echoing around Lambeau Field as the Packers fell to 1-2 and suffered their first home-opening defeat since 2012.
