Joe Rogan is openly reassessing the man he once endorsed for president. During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster sounded unsettled as he reacted to Donald Trump’s recent actions and behavior, agreeing with guest Tom Segura that something feels off.

The moment marked a noticeable shift. Rogan didn’t argue, deflect, or soften the point. Instead, he leaned into it, questioning how certain decisions are even possible, as per a report by The Daily Beast.

Why did Joe Rogan agree with Tom Segura?

The exchange unfolded naturally. When Tom Segura bluntly stated that Donald Trump was “losing it,” Rogan didn’t push back. Instead, he nodded toward age as a factor, saying, “I think everybody does when you get to a certain age.” Segura then cited recent examples that made the claim hard to ignore.

One of those moments was Trump renaming the Kennedy Center in his own honor. Rogan’s response was immediate. “That’s nutty,” he said, before pivoting to what bothered him even more, as per a report by The Daily Beast.

What about the White House plaques shocked him?

Rogan said nothing compared to the plaques Trump recently added beneath former presidents’ portraits in the White House’s “Presidential Walk of Fame.” After reading them, Rogan recalled thinking, “How is this real?”

The plaques include pointed insults. One reads, “Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History,” while another describes Barack Obama as “one of the most divisive political figures in American History.” Rogan questioned the authority behind it all, asking aloud, “How are you allowed to do that?”

He suggested Trump needed a steadying influence — a “right-hand man” who could say, “Sir, I understand the motive…” and then steer him away from his most extreme ideas, as per a report by The Daily Beast.

Is stress catching up with Trump?

Rogan also pointed to the mental toll Trump has endured. He referenced attempts to jail him, the Russia investigation, and relentless political pressure. “They were trying everything they could to destroy him,” Rogan said, adding that such stress alone could “break your brain.” He also mentioned the July attempt on Trump’s life.

"The stress of going through what that guy went through, where they were trying to jail him when they were going after him with the Russia thing, the Russia hoax, and all that s--t. Like they were trying everything they could to destroy him, just that alone’s gotta break your brain,” he said. “And then they took a shot at him,” he added, referring to the July attempt on Trump’s life."

Later, while criticizing slow, redacted DOJ Epstein file releases, Rogan demanded accountability but notably left Trump’s name out. “They’re doing it so slowly,” he complained, questioning why the process couldn’t be sped up using AI, as per a report by The Daily Beast.

"Like you guys have had this stuff for a year. Doesn’t it seem like you could just throw all that into AI at this stage of the game? And just redact the names of the victims, and let’s go"

The episode captured a rare moment of public doubt and a supporter openly asking how things reached this point.
