Joe Rogan declines having Donald Trump on Podcast
Joe Rogan was recently on Lex Fridman’s podcast, where he said that he was offered to do a podcast with Donald Trump more than once. However, Joe said that he did not want to help Trump who was “an existential threat to democracy”

In a candid conversation with Lex, Joe said termed Donald Trump as an extremely polarizing figure and a threat to democracy. When Lex pointed out that Trump could be on Joe’s podcast if a polarizing figure like Kanye West could. To that, Joe responded saying that Kanye was an artist and that whatever he does has no impact on the course of the United States. However, he also pointed out how people on the left abandoned their principles to attack Trump and his supporters.
Recently Joe Rogan found himself in the midst of a controversy for his alleged use of racial slurs in some of his podcast episodes. Interestingly, Joe had found a supporter in Trump himself, when the former President defended him on the Full Send Podcast, stating that Joe is not racist and that he should stop apologizing for his comments. On the other hand, Joe had posted a six-minute Instagram video apologizing for all the racial slurs, terming the use of the N-word on the podcast as regretful and shameful.
Joe Rogan was the special guest for the 300th episode of Lex Fridman’s podcast. The special episode was released on July 4, American Independence Day, which also happens to be Lex’s anniversary of arriving in the United States.
Joe has been vocal about his political views and endorsed Bernie Sanders for the Presidential elections of 2020. More recently, he indicated his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is expected to be the chief opponent of Donald Trump if the latter runs for president in the next elections.
