Joe Mixon’s house surrounded by Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies after ‘shots fired’ call, no arrests made
Joe Mixon’s involvement in the entire incident remains unclear.

At some point during the evening, deputies put up crime scene tape around a home on Ayers Road. It is worth noting that a neighboring property is listed as Mixon's home address in a warrant for his arrest earlier this year, although the charges were eventually dropped, and Hamilton County Auditor records indicate that the property has not changed ownership since then.
Evidence markers were seen in Mixon's yard, and at 11 p.m., deputies extended the crime scene tape to cover his home. Thirty minutes later, deputies knocked on Mixon's door, loudly identifying themselves as law enforcement and instructing the homeowner to come outside. At around 12:15 a.m., they allowed a car to enter the driveway. At 1:30 a.m., an officer arrived with an envelope of documents, after which several deputies entered the house with flashlights, and three of them brought note-taking supplies at around 2 a.m. The crime scene tape was removed at 3:20 a.m., and no arrests were made.
