US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden met with Spanish King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia on 28th June, Tuesday. In a humorous compliment, Biden complimented Zarzuela Palace's marvelous beauty at a lavish dinner they had together at the palace. The President of USA commented that there is an old expression in a little town of Claymont, Del located in Delaware. This saying goes like, ‘We’re like poor relatives. We show up when we’re invited and we stay longer than we should.’ Continuing this, Biden remarked that we may not go back.

Biden’s “we must not go back” statement came at a point when he is encountering a record-low poll numbers in the US. Currently, Biden’s average approval rating is at a record low of 38.8%, with 56.9% of Americans disapproving of his performance. Former President Donald Trump’s approval rating at this very point of his presidency was 43.3%.

The reasons for his low approval rating are multiple. Joe Biden currently has just 36% overall approval, with 34% of people citing the economy as their top concern, followed by 10% crime and 6% each citing immigration, environment and inequality.

Meanwhile, the internet had a field day after Biden expressed his desire to stay in Spain. One user tweeted, “Best thing we Americans have heard in a very, very, very long time.” Another remarked, “If only we were that lucky.”

“That would be his best choice of career so far,” tweeted another.

One user commented, “That would be great!!” while another commented, “John McAfee please rise from the dead and let this happen.”
