Jodie Whittaker will appear as the Time Lord for the final time in the centennial Doctor Who special. The BBC has officially confirmed that her final episode as the Doctor will air later this month.

According to the episode summary, she will be confronted with some powerful antagonists.

Jodie Whittaker was the first female Doctor Who in 2017, she has been a member of the long-running sci-fi show for three seasons. The 40-year-old actor will be leaving the programme along with creator Chris Chibnall.
