Jimmy Butler of Miami Heat vows to keep fighting against Denver Nuggets in NBA Finals 2023
Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler has talked about keep fighting against Denver Nuggets in NBA Finals 2023.

However, the Heat has demonstrated resilience throughout their incredible postseason journey and refuses to surrender just yet.
"We don't have no quit...We're gonna go into Monday and do what we said we were going to do this entire time and win."

"There's no doubt. We don't have any of that," affirmed Jimmy Butler, the team's star forward, following the Game 4 defeat. "We don't have quit. We're going to keep fighting, starting tomorrow, to improve. Then on Monday, we will fulfill our commitment and achieve what we've been working towards this whole time - victory.
"We have to. We have no other choice. Otherwise, all our efforts will be in vain."
This is not the first time the Heat has faced adversity in the postseason. They needed a second-half rally against the Bulls in the Play-In Tournament to secure a playoff spot. Then, they overcame the 2-seeded Celtics on the road in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, despite nearly squandering a 3-0 series lead by losing three consecutive games.
"We've always taken the hard route, and that's the path we must take once again," expressed head coach Erik Spoelstra after Friday night's loss. "Our sole focus is to bring this series back to Miami. Things can change rapidly once we return to the 305.
"The upcoming game in Denver will be a fierce battle, and our competitive locker room is built for it. When we board that plane, our sole objective will be to bring this series back to Miami."
Only 13 teams have ever managed to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win an NBA Playoff series. Among those, only one team achieved it in the NBA Finals, when LeBron James and the Cavaliers rallied against the Warriors in 2016 to secure their franchise's first title.
"We genuinely believe in each other and in ourselves as individuals," he stated. "Throughout the year, we've overcome various challenges, and this playoff run has been no different. Now, we face the toughest of them all. But, as we always say, the things we desire lie on the other side of adversity... and that's where we stand. We must go out there and win three games in a row."
Game 5 is scheduled to begin in Denver at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12.
