Actor Jessica Alba has returned after five years. The actor who made her debut at the age of 13 in 'Camp Nowhere', has made a comeback with Netflix’s 'Trigger Warning', reports 'Collider'. This film is also important because it marks the return of Jessica Alba since 2019’s 'Killers Anonymous'. She portrays a special forces commando, who returns home to small-town Creation after her father Harry, played by Alejandro De Hoyos, passes away. Directed by Indonesian filmmaker Mouly Surya,'Trigger Warning' will prove to be a gritty action-packed thriller with gang violence and political corruption as the premise. Dubbed a cross between 'Rambo: First Blood' and 'John Wick', 'Trigger Warning' has been in the making since 2016. Interestingly, 'John Wick' producer Basil Iwanyk is also involved in this and delivers an action-thriller experience similar to those in 'John Wick' or 'First Blood'.

In the trailer released by Netflix, Alba’s character, Parker, is shown confronting dangerous gangs and dusty, small-town unsavory politicians. The action opens with Parker grieving her father’s sudden death. She reconnects with her old connections, including Senator Swann, who politely reminds her that everyone in town always liked her. But she realizes that there is more than what appears and begins to dig into Swann and his connections.
