Jennifer Lopez snubbed by Chanel in Istanbul, declines invite to return after being denied entry
Jennifer Lopez was reportedly denied entry to a Chanel boutique in Istanbul's Istinye Park mall, but she responded with grace, simply accepting the situation. Dressed in pink, she calmly walked away after being refused entry by a security guard. L...

According to Turkish outlet Turkiye Today, the 56-year-old entertainer was visiting the luxury shopping complex on Monday(August 4) when she approached the international fashion house’s storefront. However, a security guard stationed inside the Chanel store allegedly refused to allow the pop icon entry.
Rather than reacting with frustration, Lopez, dressed in a coordinated baby pink outfit with matching sunglasses, is said to have responded simply, “OK, no problem,” before walking away without further comment.
Later, employees from the boutique reportedly attempted to make amends by inviting her back inside. Lopez, however, declined the offer.
Instead, she continued her shopping spree at nearby luxury brands, including Celine and Beymen, where she reportedly spent tens of thousands of dollars.
Lopez is currently on her 19-stop summer tour “Up All Night,” which began in Vigo, Spain, on July 8 and is set to wrap up in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on August 10. While she has actively shared updates from previous tour stops, she has not yet posted on social media about her August 5 performance in Istanbul.
The singer did, however, mark her 56th birthday on July 24 with a celebration in Antalya, Turkey, a day after her show there. She shared a series of joyful images and videos with fans, captioning the post: “BirthDAY Antalya, Turkey. What a gift you all are! Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes.”
Representatives for Chanel and Lopez have not yet responded for comment.
