American actress Jennifer Garner joined Once Upon a Farm as a co-founder in 2017, nearly a decade before the children's food company went public. In February 2026, Once Upon a Farm completed its initial public offering at $18 a share, putting the company at a valuation of about $724 million at the IPO price.

Forbes reported that Garner's stake was worth about $64 million at the end of the company's first trading day.

As per Once Upon a Farm's SEC filings, Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz started the company in 2015. Jennifer Garner and John Foraker joined Curtis and Raz as co-founders in 2017.


Garner has remained involved with the company. Its SEC filings identify her as a director and show her beneficial ownership of 3,057,280 shares, representing about 7.1% of the company.

Once Upon a Farm priced its IPO at $18 a share

Once Upon a Farm went public through its IPO that concluded on February 9, 2026, wherein the firm along with some of the existing shareholders issued shares for $18 apiece.

The firm issued 7,631,537 shares, whereas, some of the existing stockholders sold off 3,365,672 shares. It must be noted here that the firm did not raise any money from these shares. Moreover, the underwriters were given the right to purchase 1,649,581 extra shares.

Once Upon a Farm trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol OFRM.

As per a Reuters report, the IPO valued the company at about $724.2 million based on the $18 offering price.

Once Upon a Farm reported about $139.3 million in net IPO proceeds

Once Upon a Farm's 2025 annual report said the company received approximately $139.3 million in net proceeds from the IPO after underwriting discounts, commissions and offering expenses.

That figure refers to the company's reported net IPO proceeds and should not be confused with the total value of all shares sold in the offering.

Forbes reported Garner's stake was worth about $64 million after the first trading day

Forbes reported that Garner's roughly 7% stake was worth about $64 million at the end of Once Upon a Farm's first trading day.

That was a valuation of her stake at that particular point in time, not a fixed value. Once the company became publicly traded, the market value of her shares could change with the stock price.

By August 2026, Forbes reported that Garner remained the company's largest shareholder, with a 7% stake worth around $55 million at that time.
