MacKenzie Scott filed for divorce from Dan Jewett on Monday. Jewett did not consent to the filing, which mentioned that spousal support was not needed. The couple have decided to split within two years of getting married in 2021, according to reports.

Unfortunately, the second time was not the charm for Jeff Bezos' ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, who is reportedly divorcing her new husband, Dan Jewett. Media reports suggested that Scott filed for divorce from Jewett, whom she married two years back after divorcing Bezos.

Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott were married for 25 years before deciding to call it quits in 2019. Bezos tweeted that the couple were ending the marriage after separation and had decided to be friends. Subsequently, Scott tied the knot with Jewett, a science teacher from Seattle, in 2021. Reports have also confirmed that Jewett did not contest the divorce filing.


After her divorce from Bezos, MacKenzie Scott became one of the richest people in the world, inheriting 4% of Amazon shares, which were valued at over $30 billion at the time. Scott donated more than $4 billion during the pandemic for the betterment of struggling Americans.
