Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez host a star-studded engagement party in Beverly Hills

Billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez celebrated their engagement with a star-studded party in Beverly Hills, California, at the home of designer Diane Von Furstenberg and media mogul Barry Diller. Bezos also delivered a heartfelt speech to his fiancée.

The guest list included legends like Oprah Winfrey and Barbra Streisand, along with stars such as Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, and Salma Hayek.

The engagement party was also attended by Disney CEO Bob Iger, Kris Jenner, Rita Wilson, Gayle King, Jessica Alba, designer Stacy Bendet, and Deborra-Lee Furness, among others. Nineties singer Jewel performed an original song titled "Legendary," specially written for the couple.


The guest list also featured Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse, Miranda Kerr and Snap CEO Evan Spiegel, James Brolin, Jennifer Meyer, billionaire Nicolas Berggruen, and Hollywood financier Vivi Nevo.

Barry Diller praised Sanchez, calling her a "sparkler in Jeff’s life" and noting their evident love for each other. The engaged couple had recently been seen in the South of France during the Cannes Film Festival, where Sanchez shared the news of their engagement.

In a feature with Vogue, Sanchez expressed excitement about becoming "Mrs. Bezos" and mentioned that they are still contemplating the details of the wedding. As for her wedding dress, she is considering designs by Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, or Valentino.

When asked about his input in the wedding plans, Bezos humorously remarked, "Oh, God, no. Do I look that dumb?" The tech tycoon and the broadcast journalist-turned-helicopter pilot have been inseparable since they started dating in 2018.

News of their relationship emerged in 2019, but they kept a low profile until Bezos' divorce from his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott, was finalized.
