JD Vance says Air Force Two will be his plane soon
In what may be called a stunning and ridiculous incident, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance tried to confront Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, on the tarmac of Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Wisconsin. The Ohio Senator approached a group of reporters at the airport and said to have a closer look at Air Force Two. He told them that he figured he would come by and just get a good look at the plane because hopefully it’s going to be his plane in a few months, reports New York Post'. He also told the campaign reporters that he thought they might get lonely because Vice President Kamala Harris did not answer questions from reporters for 17 days.

Democrat- Republican political bickerings

It was such a media stunt that it caught the attention away from a large nearby rally featuring Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. It triggered another round of political bickering between the campaign teams of the two rivals. The Harris campaign took to Tikok to mock Vance by posting video of his plane landing at the Eau Claire airport with the oral caption, “All of a sudden, I hear this agitating, grating voice.”

Trump campaign hits back

Trump-Vance campaign spokesman Steven Cheung hit back in a tweet posted on the social media platform X.

Later Vance explained what happened on the tarmac. Talking to the employees of Wollard International, a manufacturing company, he said that he actually just saw the vice president's plane on the tarmac as he landed about the same time that she did, and he went over there because he thought it might be nice to check out this plane that's going to be mine in a few months if we all take care of business.

JD Vance slams Kamala Harris

The running mate of Donald Trump also slammed Kamala Harris for not taking questions from the press and asked the reporters if the Harris team had given them an explanation for why she wouldn’t take questions. He called it insulting to Americans that the presumptive Democrat candidate hasn’t been giving interviews.

JD Vance also criticized the vice president on many other issues. He said she pretends to be a tough-on-crime prosecutor and yet here she is wanting to defund the police. Calling Kamala Harris the border czar, the Republican vice president candidate said she opened up the US southern border.
