Jana Kramer engaged to boyfriend Allan Russell; details of marriage proposal

Singer Jana Kramer has announced her engagement to her boyfriend Allen Russell, who is a soccer coach. The two got engaged after just six months of dating each other. Jana shared the news on an episode of her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer on Thursday, May 25, while also giving details of the proposal. Read on to know more.

How Russell proposed to Jana

Jana revealed that Russell proposed to her in the presence of her two children, 7-year-old daughter Jolie and 4-year-old son Jace, from her ex-husband Mike Caussin.


She revealed on her podcast, “I've had a few things that I have been not talking about because, just want to do it when I'm ready, and so I've got an announcement today," she said. "Allan and I have been dating for six-and-a-half months, and he asked me to marry him."

"It was a really beautiful night, and we were all sitting on the front porch steps and looking out at the view," she opened up about the proposal. "He said my name, and I got up, and then he got down on one knee."

Jolie jumps with joy

Jana reveals that her daughter Jolie immediately understood and “started jumping up and down. It was the cutest thing ever," reminisced Kramer.

The singer said that she knows her now fiance is “my person," but that she "kinda blacked out" during the proposal itself. "And then we both just started crying,” as it felt “very sentimental…it just felt right."

Jana Kramer divorced her husband Mike Caussin in April 2021 after he cheated on her.

Jana Kramer first introduced her new boyfriend Allen Russel to fans in January 2023. He is a former professional soccer player, who currently makes a living as a coach for the English Football League's Norwich City Football Club based in Norfolk.
