A beeping carbon monoxide alarm awoke the 33-year-old reality star Jamie Laing around 6 a.m. After discovering the potentially-fatal carbon monoxide in his home on Saturday morning, Made in Chelsea star escaped unharmed. He shared the story on Instagram.
Although Jamie was "absolutely exhausted" by the abrupt awakening, he confessed that it was fortunate for him that he had realized what the alarm was-as it might have been life-threatening.
The video describes how his carbon monoxide alarm went off at six in the morning. He needed to contact the Gas Emergency, something he had never done before and was instructed to open a window. In the clip's background, repeated beeping could be heard, with Jamie soon explaining the situation to concerned fans. Then, Jamie sought advice from his fans, unsure whether to stay at home or evacuate the property.
Many fans feared the worst when Jamie disappeared for two hours following his post, but thankfully he returned and confirmed he had sought professional help. Jamie said his home had been filled with a lethal gas, and Steve, the gas emergency guy, had just arrived.
