Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, has announced that he has signed a contract with his hometown Cleveland Browns.
Paul released a video at the podium with Johnson holding a jersey. The Browns' official account replied: "Let's go! "Welcome home!"

Paul has been clear in the past that he wants a chance in the NFL, citing his quick ascension in the boxing world as proof that he could do it, even if the entire situation stinks like a publicity scam.

In April, Paul posted a video of himself catching passes at the Cowboys facility with the caption "visit." After receiving outrage, he addressed his detractors via social media.

"Remember when I was told I couldn't box?" Paul sent a tweet in April. "I then became the highest-paid fighter, remained unbeaten, and knocked out every opponent I faced. Now you're saying I cannot attend the NFL? "Please hold my beer,"
Paul also released his measurements, stating that he has an outstanding 40-yard sprint time of 4.37 seconds and a vertical leap of 33 inches. He also described his knockout power as "considerable" and his hand fighting as "outstanding."
