As Pride Month is being celebrated in June across the world, a new queer psychological thriller is all set to shock the viewers.

Kelley Kali's latest horror feature ‘Jagged Mind’ is scheduled to be launched on Hulu on June 15.

The thriller is based on Kali’s short film ‘First Date’ and it narrates the story of a woman, who meets a mysterious girlfriend and the rendezvous changes her life.


The twist and turn in the story is evident in the official synopsis which says, “When Billie starts dating a mysterious new girlfriend, she suffers blackouts and strange visions that feel like she’s living the same moments of her life over and over.”

The movie will have its premiere at the American Black Film Festival from June 14 to 18 in Miami Beach.

Billie, the character played by British actor Maisie Richardson-Sellers, suddenly began to have mysterious visions and blackouts after meeting a mysterious girl, played by Shannon Woodward. Her life goes upside down as she is caught in a time loop.

‘Jagged Mind’ is not the first thriller to be launched on Hulu. The streamer has already premiered the thriller ‘Clock’, starring Dianna Agron, ‘Grimcutty’ revolved around an Internet meme that comes to life and creates havoc in a city. The list includes ‘The Mill’ and ‘Matriarch’.
