The School of Rock star Jack Black gave an impromptu performance of Taylor Swift's hit 'Anti-Hero' at the Give Back-ular Spectacular in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 26. He was seen performing in his underwear. In a video clip shared by a fan who captured the Jack Black the special one-off performance of the Taylor cover, Jack Black can be seen pulling his shirt off and dropping it on the ground.

In the video clip, Jack Black is seen taking the mic and starting to speak to the audience. He then asked if anyone had 'any requests.' As a few fans apparently called out for Taylor’s tune, Jack said, "I know that one.'

Jack Black began singing a chorus while dancing around. He performs his own renditions of ballet moves while singing the track. He sang, "It’s me, hi. I’m the problem. It’s me. At tea time, everybody agrees." He abandoned the lyrics for the rest of the chorus and gave some of his signature scatting along to the melody.

SAG-AFTRA fundraiser


According to 'People' it was a fundraiser event organized to help members of SAG-AFTRA amid the actors' strike. Jack refused to sing someone else’s song request because of the strike.

Earlier, Jack released a hilarious TikTok video of himself re-creating dance movies from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song 'WAP' in 2020. He has also performed countless covers with his comedic rock band Tenacious D.
