Qatar’s censorship committee has decided not to allow the release of “It Ends With Us,” a PG-13 film produced by Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios. The decision is linked to the inclusion of kissing scenes and a non-graphic scene where characters remain partially clothed, as per media reports.

Qatar’s Strict Censorship

Qatar is known for its rigorous censorship policies, which have led to the banning of various American movies. The country previously blocked films, such as Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” the animated superhero film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” and Marvel’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and “Eternals.” These films were all rated PG-13 in the United States.
