Storyboard artist vouches for Justin Baldoni

The claims come from a storyboard artist who worked on It Ends With Us, the film that the ongoing legal dispute is largely centered around. Talia Spencer, who worked on the production of the film, spoke to 60 Minutes Australia, detailing her experience working under Baldoni, who directed the film and also starred in it opposite Lively.

On Sunday, 60 Minutes Australia aired a segment that explored the complex legal battle, which involves allegations of sexual harassment and slander, one from each side. Speaking to 60 Minutes Australia, Spencer described Baldoni as "one of the few directors" she found to be "kind and respectful".

According to PEOPLE, the storyboard artist told 60 Minute Australia that one of the reasons she chose to join It Ends With Us was because she believed Baldoni cared "a lot about the vision" of what the team was trying to achieve and because she felt that the director was "not in it for fame".

Talia Spencer feels Blake Lively tried to exploit Baldoni's 'kindness'

"I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power," Spencer, who has contributed to as many as 10 films and TV series dating back to 2019, said as she opined on how the dynamics between Lively and Baldoni evolved on the sets of It Ends With Us.

The interviewer also asked her if she believes that Lively "wrestled control of the film" away from Baldoni. Spencer's answer to the question was "I think she tried to, yes." She also appeared to respond affirmatively when the interviewer asked her opinion on whether Lively was able to succeed in the task.
