American actor Issa Rae discussed the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller while calling it Hollywood's microcosm. She also spoke about the #MeToo movement and how women are treated in Hollywood. She alleged Hollywood mostly cares about money by the way it shields Ezra from consequences.

Ezra Miller uses they/them pronouns and believes they are nonbinary. They were arrested for disorderly conduct in Hawaii and suspicion of assault in April.

A teen's parents accused them of grooming him, and then, more recently, police charged them with felony burglary.
