The IDF said in a statement that the operation once again proved the cynical modus operandi of the Hamas terror organization, which used hospitals and the civilian population to hide terrorists.It also said that with the help of the Al-Amal Hospital staff, the soldiers were able to locate the terrorists and subdue them without firing a shot or disrupting any medical procedures.
IDF has claimed that it worked with the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza to deliver more than 20 oxygen tanks donated to the hospital. It also said that before the operation, its troops were briefed on “the importance of preventing harm to patients, medical staff, civilians, and medical equipment, by international law.”
