She is being boycotted for her comments saying "blood money" from Israeli customers.
The incident followed a recent Hamas attack on Israel, which occurred on October 7th.
"I don’t want blood money," said Kattan in response.
This has resulted in a divided reaction from clients and followers.
Kattan has been facing backlash from clients over comments. This includes Eva Longoria and Nicole Richie.
Many came to support Kattan for her stance on Palestine but others have expressed their disagreement. For her comments, many have decided to boycott Huda Beauty products.
The founder made the comments when she celebrated her 40th birthday in Dubai, one day after Hamas attacked Israel.
A Change.org petition to remove Huda Beauty products from Sephora stores in the US due to Kattan's comments was started after this controversy. It has already received 5000 signatures.
Both Huda Beauty and Sephora have made no comments on this controversy.
TSG, in which Kattan back in 2017 had sold a stake at $1.25 billion, issued a statement by condemning the actions of Hamas and expressed grief over the loss of lives.
US has been univocally supporting Israel since the conflict between Israel and Hamas started. President Biden had visited Israel recently extending support to Israel.
His visit comes in the backdrop of a blast on the hospital which killed over 500 in Gaza. Over 3,000 were taking refuge at the hospital at the time of the blast.
