The IDF has made extensive preparations to accommodate the religious and cultural needs of Haredi soldiers. An old training base, the Tebetz Camp in the Jordan Valley, has been renovated and adapted to support the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle, ensuring that religious practices can be maintained during military service.

The establishment of the Hasmonean Brigade has garnered support from various sectors within the Haredi community. Some recruits have indicated that their rabbis endorse their decision to enlist, reflecting a shift in attitudes towards military service among ultra-Orthodox Jews.
