Is X down? Downdetector receives surge of complaints from US, UK and India

Elon Musk-owned X is down. The social media platform is reportedly facing an outage.

As per Downdetector, X reported a surge in user complaints since 12 am on March 29. This follows a similar outage experienced by X, Reddit and MLB.TV on March 28.

As per Downdetector, X is experiencing issues in the US. According to the website, 57 per cent of the complaints it received are regarding the app. Nine per cent of the complaints are linked to server issues. The remaining 34 per cent cited website issues.


Similar complaints are being reported from other countries like India and the UK as well. X has not commented on the recent disruption till now.

X, Reddit, MLB outage

On March 28, X, MLB.TV and Reddit were down for several users. These disruptions are the latest in a string of tech outages affecting major platforms. The disruption at MLB.TV affected several users who were logging in to watch the Opening Day of Major League Baseball 2025.
