The inflation levels in the US were earlier in a major spot of worry, coupled with intense recession fears for the past couple of months. However, recession fears subsided for the time being after the US Federal Reserve's decision to cut down interest rates, and then another good news came in that claimed that inflation levels were dropping steadily. However, it still looks like the jar is half-filled as US citizens are definitely feeling the impact of rising prices of even basic items, that may give their pockets a burden after some time.

Rising inflation in the US building up to something worse?

According to renowned author Robert Kiyosaki, who has penned one of the biggest best-sellers, 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad', he is also feeling the apparent 'squeeze' in his pockets while paying a whopping $14 for an egg-salad sandwich. Kiyosaki is also claiming that a major stock market crash is slowly building up in the shadows, while the market bubble keeps expanding, which can lead to a major collapse in the future, according to a MoneyWise report.

'Overpriced' sandwich 'hard to swallow', says author

Even though coughing up $14 may not be a tough deal for a champion, best-selling author, Kiyosaki is of the opinion that even though he can afford an egg-salad sandwich at that price, but its price should have been much lesser in the first place. The author stated that he has been receiving responses from thousands of people, some being Millennials, Gen X and Gen Zs, who claim that they are not able to afford a standard lifestyle for themselves due to the inflated costs of living in US cities, which may soon become a problem for the younger generations.
