Columbus Day is a federal holiday, meaning most government offices, including post offices, are closed. Mail delivery for residential and business addresses is suspended for the day. Only Priority Mail Express continues to operate. Regular mail services will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 14, as per a report by WCNC.
