Is the glowing media coverage to blame for Kamala Harris' extended honeymoon? That's what Trump is claiming.
After the Democratic National Convention, Kamala Harris would extend her lead over the Republicans, but this would not last long.

The campaign's lead pollster, Toby Fabrizio, acknowledged that following the Democratic National Convention (DNC), Ms. Harris would likely widen her lead over the Republican, but predicted this to be temporary. As it prepares for a further decline in the polls, the Donald Trump campaign has attributed Kamala Harris's extended honeymoon to the positive media coverage she received.

Mr Fabrizio minimized Ms Harris's recent surge in the polls and chalked it up to a Harris honeymoon in a memo distributed to the media on Saturday. FiveThirtyEight, a poll aggregator, reports that she now leads her opponent nationwide by 3.6 per cent, up from 0.4 per cent one month prior.
The vice president's popularity has been written off by many Republicans as a fleeting sugar high that will soon wear off, but Mr Fabrizio suggested it may have lasted longer than anticipated due to positive media coverage. In actuality, the honeymoon has been extended by the media for more than four weeks.
Trump’s campaign is evolving after conceding that he may be defeated by Hillary Clinton in the November election if he does not begin anew. He has been mending fences with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, thus reestablishing a significant figure in the swing state. Trump has also changed his rhetoric on the issue of abortion and is more about the rights of women and their reproductive choices. He is expecting to pick up the pace in swing states and will be holding rallies in Michigan, Wisconsin, as well as Pennsylvania.
