Is it going to get tough for Kamala Harris in the U.S. elections? More Americans are leaning towards Republicans than Democrats
Many Americans are leaning towards the Republican Party over the Democratic Party, which they have claimed for the first time at this stage of the election, which is also a great advantage for the Republican Party, according to reports.

As per a news report from Gallup analyzing decades of its own polling, many American voters claimed for the first time at this stage of the presidential election that they were leaning towards the Republican Party. An average Gallup survey that was conducted between July and September reflected that 48% of adults are supporting the Republican Party as well as identifying themselves as Republicans, whereas 45 per cent are aligning with the Democratic Party. Both parties are expected to boost their campaigns as they want to secure votes from undecided voters and strengthen their respective bases.

The report of the polling firm said that Republicans have achieved a significant lead in the third quarter, an outright advantage for them that they haven't seen before at this stage in an election cycle. Gallop's recent survey found that several factors are there to ensure that the Republican Party can win the election. One of the most significant factors is that majority voters are wanting that the GOP should handle the economy and other national issues. Gallop suggested in a report that although the Republican Party has the advantage to win, a significant mistake can change the outcome, as specified in The Baltimore Sun.
Factors that favor the Republican Party
Professor of Political Science at American University Matthew Foster emphasized the significant influence of partisan leanings on voting behavior. Matthew Foster gave a statement that historical trends, political landscape, and economic condition are favoring the Republican Party, and also some factors, such as a Democratic incumbent president, dissatisfaction with the economy, and other circumstances, are reflecting that Republicans will give a good performance in the election, as per The Baltimore Sun.During the 2020 election, US President Joe Biden defeated former US President Donald Trump by over 33 per cent, and Matthew Foster will be surprised if Harris secures a win in Maryland despite the indication of national trends towards Republicans as suggested by the Gallup survey.
