One of the most popular shows on ITV, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", received criticism from its fans on Saturday as the game show aired its latest edition following a return to the program schedule post the demise of Queen Elizabeth II.

Several viewers expressed their frustration when they saw a contestant called Natalie on the viewers' favorite game show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. Reportedly, Natalie revealed on the show that she was an entrepreneur and had traveled to 86 countries, raising the red flag among viewers who quipped at her for appearing on the show despite being a Millionaire already.

Is Natalie, the controversial contestant, already a Millionaire?

Contestant Natalie, who had an impressive background and appeared to be quite wealthy, qualified for the game show "Who wants to be a Millionaire," following her win on the new show Fastest Finger First hosted by Anita Rani. Fastest Finger First has been launched as the teatime edition of the main game show 'Who wants to be a Millionaire.'

Fastest Fingers First: The new edition of the show
The new version of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire show has done away with the opening round, and in its place, the contestants are now required to qualify for the main show by proving their worth on the 'Fastest Finger First' show, the new teatime edition of the main game show. The winners from the 'Fastest Finger First' show progress to the live 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' studio.

The viewers were quick to quip at Natalie's impressive background and the fact that she was an entrepreneur who had been fortunate enough to visit 86 countries.

Fans of the show pour frustration on social media

Natalie's wealthy background did not seem to go well with the show's fans. The fans watching the show from the comfort of their homes took to social media to slam Natalie for appearing on the show and ruining the chances of someone more deserving and in greater need of the prize money.

In disbelief, the fans poured their frustration on social media, using the hashtag #whowantstobeamillionaire. One irritated viewer wrote that an entrepreneur does not need to be on a show like 'Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.' What does she need the money for?

Another fan couldn't believe she had been to 86 countries while he couldn't afford a weekend at Blackpool. One displeased viewer added that she was already a Millionaire if she had traveled to 86 countries.

Yet another frustrated viewer asked why the show only gets contestants who clearly do not need the money. He exclaimed that this woman has been to 86 countries, whereas he has never been anywhere more exotic than Blackpool.

One more fan suggested that she was rich enough to play gamble on any amount she wanted as it would make no difference to her. She had nothing at risk.

Contestant Maria was mid-way through her game when the siren sounded, signaling the end of the episode. The host Jeremy Clarkson then asked her whether she knew what that meant. Maria immediately replied without thinking that it meant she had to get changed for the next taping. Thus, she unknowingly let out the well-kept secret that the next episode is filmed with the contestant in changed outfits almost immediately after the first episode ends. It is made to look like the episode was shot on another day.
