Speaking on the January 26 episode of his Wanging On podcast, Norton joked that he’s legally bound to silence, thanks to a stack of non-disclosure agreements tied to the upcoming nuptials.

The moment the topic came up, Norton shut it down. After his co-host Maria McErlane excitedly mentioned Swift’s wedding and teased that Norton had been invited, he responded plainly, “I can say nothing.”

When McErlane gasped, Norton doubled down, adding, “I’ve signed so many NDAs.” The exchange quickly turned playful, with McErlane jokingly offering herself as his plus-one. Norton immediately shut that down too, quipping, “Over my husband’s dead body.”

How did Taylor Swift hint Norton would attend?

Swift herself first suggested Norton would be part of the celebration during an October 2025 appearance on The Graham Norton Show. It marked her first television interview after Travis Kelce proposed over the summer.

While discussing the engagement, Swift praised Kelce’s elaborate surprise. “He really crushed it when it came to surprising me,” she told Norton, explaining how Kelce disguised his proposal by filming an episode of his New Heights podcast.

"We had actually filmed a podcast episode — he has a podcast called New Heights — so we filmed the podcast for about three or four hours ... and meanwhile behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this."

Behind the scenes, Kelce had transformed his backyard, complete with newly installed hedges hiding Swift’s tour photographer. “And one of the things that he put in there, very strategically, was a wall of hedges that weren't there before. And inside the hedges was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there," said Taylor Swift. “He went all out — 10 out of 10,” she said.

When Norton pressed her for wedding details, Swift offered only a knowing tease: “You’ll know.”
