Iran's missile targeted Israel Defense Forces Command Center next to Soroka Hospital, 3D video of Israeli military headquarters released
Iran attacked Israel, targeting military headquarters. The strike caused damage to the Soroka Medical Center nearby. Iran claimed it targeted a military site, not the hospital. Soroka hospital reported extensive damage and patient transfers. Strik...

Following the strikes, Iran claimed it had targeted a military site close to the hospital, not the hospital. “Our powerful armed forces accurately eliminated an Israeli Military Command, Control, and Intelligence HQ and another vital target,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a statement on his X account.
He stated that the blast wave caused superficial damage to a small section of the nearby and largely evacuated Soroka Military Hospital. “The facility is mainly used to treat Israeli soldiers engaged in the genocide in Gaza, 25 miles away, where Israel has destroyed or damaged 94% of Palestinian hospitals,” he further stated.
Hours after the attack near the hospital, Iranian media released a detailed 3D image of one of Israel’s main command and intelligence centers. The centers reportedly play an important role in planning attacks against the Islamic Republic.
Several wards of Soroka hospital damaged, authorities say
The operation launched by Tehran targeted the IDF C4I HQ and the Central Command for Intelligence and Operations in Tel Aviv, right next to Soroka Hospital, Iranian media reported.
Around 200 patients will be transferred to other hospital centers, Prof. Shlomi Codish, chief executive of the Soroka hospital, said, the BBC reported.
Strikes were reported in several locations across Israel. The country's health ministry stated that 271 people had sustained injuries. In the Thursday onslaught, some 20-30 Iranian missiles targeted Israel’s central cities, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Holon, as well as Soroka Hospital in the southern city of Beersheba, Anadolu Agency reported.
Israel threatens Iran's top leader
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz blamed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and said the military "has been instructed and knows that in order to achieve all of its goals, this man absolutely should not continue to exist.”
Hostilities began on Friday when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
