"Invasion" was co-created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil. Kinberg, known for his work on acclaimed productions, collaborated with experts from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the SETI Institute to ensure authenticity in depicting governmental and military responses to an alien threat.
