Instagram just released a game-changing update, and users are excited about it. How does the new reposting feature work?

Users can now repost any public Reel or feed post directly to their feed; it will appear exactly like a regular post, but with full credit to the original creator. Consider it Instagram's version of retweeting.

To Repost:

Tap the repost icon (two arrows forming a square) below the post.
If you want, you can add a caption or note, it's completely optional.
Tap the repost button, and you're done. It will appear in your followers' feeds and in the Reposts tab.

What exactly is Instagram's Friends tab in Reels about?

Instagram is also improving users' ability to stay connected with close friends. The new Friends tab in Reels lets you see which Reels your friends have liked, commented on, or shared.
