Donald Trump is hosting a fancy crypto dinner this Thursday for people who own a lot of his meme coin called $TRUMP. The dinner will take place at Trump’s golf club in Potomac Falls, Virginia, as per reports.

Guests can come after 5:30 p.m. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m. and might go on until 10 p.m. It’s a formal event, men and women need to dress up, and everyone must pass a background check. The email called it a “once-in-a-lifetime evening with the 47th President”, as mentioned in the report by Fortune.

Trump made his own cryptocurrency called $TRUMP just two days before he launched his campaign. The coin became super popular at first, but now it’s worth around $2.7 billion, according to CoinGecko. The dinner is a reward for the top 220 holders of his coin, basically, people who own the most of it. Developers are also letting people use $TRUMP to buy Trump-branded stuff like sneakers and Bibles, says reports.

The top 220 holders of $TRUMP were invited, but many use fake or hidden names online. One confirmed guest is Justin Sun, a Chinese billionaire who made the Tron blockchain. He told Forbes he’s worth $40 billion. Justin Sun posted, “As the top holder of $TRUMP, I’m excited to connect with everyone.”

MemeCore, a crypto company based in Singapore, is sending someone. Kain Warwick, a crypto investor from Australia, also flew in for the dinner. 18 out of 25 big $TRUMP holders have used the Binance exchange, which means many are not from the U.S., according to the Analysis by Fortune.

According to the Fortune report, some people think this event is corrupt, saying it’s a “pay-to-meet” event where rich investors buy access to Trump. Robert Weissman from Public Citizen, a nonprofit, said this is one of the most corrupt things in U.S. politics. Weissman is also helping organize the protest outside the golf club. Senator Jeff Merkley is joining the protest too. The White House said the President should be making good deals for all Americans, not just himself. When asked about the protest, Eric Trump said that “most of these people are paid to protest”, but didn’t show proof.
