Inside Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s £20m mega mansion: 50-acre estate boasts indoor pool, games room, underground spa, wine cellar and giant Wayne statue

Coleen and Wayne Rooney are giving fans their most revealing look yet inside the reportedly £20 million spectacular mansion. Their new docuseries, 'The Real Rooneys', brings cameras into the family’s sprawling Cheshire estate as the couple navigate a transition period in their life with their four children. They will let fans have an insight into their lavish family home through cameras in this docuseries. While Coleen is returning to limelight with new career ventures, Wayne - former Manchester United and England player - is spending time at home after quitting his managerial role in football. However, it’s not only the family that is drawing the attention, but their huge house that boasts of numerous luxurious amenities as well. Their enormous property, officially known as 'High Lake Manor', is almost a character of its own, packed with luxurious features ranging from an indoor swimming pool and underground spa area to a private movie theater and wine cellar.

INSIDE THE ROONEYS’ INCREDIBLE 50-ACRE ESTATE

The mansion is built on roughly 50 acres of former farmland in Cheshire, with reports indicating Wayne paid around £4 million for the land in 2017. The finished home has reportedly six bedrooms and an impressive list of amenities, including a private soccer field, underground tunnel, wine cellar, swimming pool, several bars, a giant statue of Wayne and a trophy room dedicated to his remarkable playing career.

The basement reportedly includes a gym, steam room, plunge pool, hot tub, movie theater and snooker room complete with its own bar. The indoor swimming pool even has an ice bath, while elsewhere on the estate there is an indoor driving range, stables with space for 14 horses and a garage capable of accommodating six cars.

According to Daily Mail, Wayne’s personal retreat is considerably simpler. He revealed that when the house was being designed, his main requests were a small windowless room where he could play PlayStation or watch movies and a snooker table.

'THE REAL ROONEYS' TAKES VIEWERS BEYOND THE LUXURY

For all the eye-catching features of their home, 'The Real Rooneys' is designed to offer something more personal than a mansion tour. The 10-episode series, premiered on September 24, with episodes 1-8 available at launch and remaining two slated to be released on October 1, follows Coleen, Wayne and sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass during a year of significant change for the family. Coleen and Wayne’s story stretches back decades. They first met when they were just 12 while growing up in Liverpool, began dating as teenagers and married in 2008.

Well, now after years of heavy publicity, viewers are being let in on a part of their lives which has always been private up until now. For Coleen, the mansion represents something particularly personal. She has described the house as the kind of home she dreamed about as a child - only the finished version comes with considerably more than she could have imagined.

For US viewers, 'The Real Rooneys' is available through Hulu, while Disney+ carries the series in the UK and other markets.
