In U.S. President Joe Biden’s home search, Justice Department finds more classified items
Troubles seem to be rising for U.S. President Joe Biden as more classified documents have been found at the leader’s home search.

These items include documents with classification markings, said a lawyer for the president on Saturday night.
In a statement, Biden’s lawyer, Bob Bauer, said that some classified documents and "surrounding materials" were dated from the tenure of Biden in the U.S. Senate. In the Senate, he represented Delaware from 1973 to 2009.
Some others were from the tenure of the politician when he was vice president in the Obama administration, from 2009 to 2017, as per Bauer.
The search conducted by the Department of Justice lasted for over 12 hours. Some notes, which were personally handwritten by Biden as vice president, were also found, the lawyer said.
During the search, neither the US President nor First Lady were present, the attorney said. For the weekend, Biden is in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The search was conducted by Justice Department investigators in proper coordination with Biden's lawyers ahead of time, Bauer added. At the time of the search, the personal and White House lawyers of the president were present.
Earlier this month, some classified government records were found at the Wilmington residence of the President. In November, some documents were discovered at a private office he maintained at a Washington, D.C. think tank after his tenure as vice president ended in the Obama administration in 2017.
