When it comes to cinema, not every film can be a masterpiece, and some, according to audiences, are remembered for all the wrong reasons. IMDb’s “Bottom 100” chart, a running list of the lowest-rated movies as voted by users, has once again highlighted films that failed to win over viewers despite star casts, flashy marketing, or ambitious premises.

Here’s a look at the current Top 10 worst-rated films according to IMDb users' ratings.

1. Saving Christmas (2014) – 1.3/10 (17K votes)

Kirk Cameron’s holiday passion project set out to remind audiences of the “true meaning” of Christmas. Instead, it delivered clunky monologues, awkward humor, and endless sermons that felt more like a lecture than a movie.

Its abysmal score has been cemented at the bottom of IMDb for years. It is not available on Netflix; however, you can watch it on PlutoTV.

2. Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004) – 1.5/10 (32K votes)

The follow-up to the already-questionable Baby Geniuses imagined toddlers with superpowers saving the world.

The result? A bizarre mix of nonsensical plotlines, strange dialogue, and uncomfortable CGI effects. Critics have called it “one of the most baffling sequels ever greenlit.”

Superbabies is unavailable on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

3. Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) – 1.7/10 (38K votes)

Created by a fertilizer salesman with no filmmaking background, this horror story about a family stumbling upon a cult is notorious for its stilted acting, endless shots of people driving, and incoherent editing.

Though widely mocked, Manos has gained a cult following; fans now celebrate it as one of the greatest “so bad it’s good” films.

It's available on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.

4. Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) – 1.7/10 (27K votes)

Intended as a romantic thriller with an ecological message, Birdemic is infamous for its wooden acting, abrupt scene transitions, and birds that look like animated GIFs pasted on screen.

Its low-budget charm has made it a staple of midnight screenings, where audiences cheer at its absurdity.

You can watch it for free with ads on Amazon Prime Video, Pluto TV, and Fandango at Home.

5. Radhe (2021) – 1.8/10 (181K votes)

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s action thriller promised big set pieces but disappointed fans with recycled storylines, over-the-top violence, and cringeworthy dialogue.

Despite massive box office hype, it holds the dubious honor of being one of the lowest-rated Indian films on IMDb. It can be streamed on ZEE5.

The other bottom five movies were notorious for their critical failures. Disaster Movie (2008), with a score of 1.9/10, attempted to parody Hollywood blockbusters but was widely panned for its crude humor and forced pop-culture gags.

The Hottie & the Nottie (2008), starring Paris Hilton, earned a 2.0/10 rating, criticized for shallow writing and offensive stereotypes.

The video game adaptation House of the Dead (2003) scored 2.1/10. Uwe Boll’s direction and wooden performances left audiences unimpressed.

Son of the Mask (2005), the long-awaited sequel to the Jim Carrey classic, suffered without its lead, relying on over-the-top CGI and slapstick that failed to capture the original’s charm, earning 2.3/10.

Epic Movie (2007) rounded out the list with a 2.5/10 rating, another parody film whose lazy writing and crude jokes left audiences laughing at it for all the wrong reasons.

Why do people watch them?

Ironically, many of these “terrible” films still draw audiences, not for their artistic merit, but for the sheer spectacle of their failures.

Movies like Birdemic and Manos have cult followings, with fans hosting ironic screenings, riffing on dialogue, and reveling in their awkward charm.
