Blumhouse's new horror movie 'Imaginary' marks the return of filmmaker Jeff Wadlow, who was responsible for the 'Kick-Ass 2' sequel. His last feature film was the Netflix Original, 'The Curse of Bridge Hollow', a supernatural comedy-horror. When Blumhouse released 'Truth or Dare' in 2018, it collected $95.3 million at the box office from a production budget of $3.5 million, but it did not get good reviews. It is natural to raise many eyebrows when the same director is getting ready to release his other horror movie, 'Imaginary'.

Release Date

According to 'Collider', 'Imaginary' will be released on Friday, March 8. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on February 2, but in its first teaser, it was revealed that now the horror film will hit the screens on March 8. 'Imaginary' will have to compete with 'Kung Fu Panda 4', 'Love Lies Bleeding', 'Cabrini', and 'Accidental Texan', which will be released on the same day.

DeWanda Wise is the protagonist of 'Imaginary' and she will portray Jessica. Other members of the cast include Pyper Braun as Alice, Tom Payne, Matthew Sato, Betty Buckley, Veronica Falcon, Taegen Burns, and Dane DiLiegro.
