Nu-metal icons Limp Bizkit have confirmed that they will play at the 2024 Download Festival in Derby, which is scheduled to take place from June 14 to June 16. This is a much-awaited return to the UK for the band.

Fans are excited to see the legendary band return to Donington Park after an 11-year break, and the day splits for their performance have not yet been announced.

Limp Bizkit will be the headlining act at two more shows in June in addition to their Download Festival slot. They are scheduled to play Ormeau Park in Belfast on June 12 and Dreamland Margate on June 15 as part of the Margate Summer Series.

Tickets for these shows are scheduled to go on general sale at 9 am on Friday, December 8.

The 2021 release of "Still Sucks," Limp Bizkit's most recent album, has fueled their comeback to the touring scene. They are well-known for their high-energy performances and innovative fusion of rock, hip-hop, and metal.

Rob Waller, the creator and programmer of Margate, has put together an eclectic lineup for the Margate Summer Series, which begins on July 20 and features post-punk heroes IDLES. This will provide a varied musical experience to the Dreamland theme park.

"Margate is the perfect location for rock'n'roll, so expect a lot of guitars, energy, and many opportunities to sing along," Waller said, expressing his excitement about the festival's lineup.

Along with Limp Bizkit, other well-known acts like Madness, Simple Minds, Richard Ashcroft, and Manic Street Preachers will be featured in the Margate Summer Series during June and July.

The Download Festival, considered to be the largest rock and metal event in the UK, will feature a three-day lineup headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Fall Out Boy, and Queens of the Stone Age.

With over 80 additional acts confirmed for the weekend, including Machine Head, Royal Blood, and The Offspring, among others, the festival is expected to draw about 100,000 attendees in June 2024.
