Details on the passing of this bill:
The Idaho legislature made it the first state to enforce the fetal heartbeat law after Texas' controversial law back in September. The GOP-controlled House of Idaho passed Bill 1309 with a 51-14 vote count, allowing the Idaho abortion ball bill to come into effect. The bill now needs to proceed to Republican Gov. Brad Little's desk for approval.
Idaho abortion bill received instant criticism from Planned Parenthood as it called a replica of Texas' law that bans almost all kinds of abortion in the United States.
What is the "fetal heartbeat" law?
What was the reaction of the Planned Parenthood Federation over this passing?
Planned Parenthood Federation of America is a non-profit organisation. It provides sexual health care in the USA and globally.

Planned Parenthood claims that the anti-abortion lawmakers ignored the public opinion and rushed the Idaho legislature bill to capitalise on the US supreme court's failure to block Texas's ban.
