The company has also faced the wrath of the PC market slowdown in 2024, coupled with its high operating costs for its expensive foundries. Even if the company bucks up from the start of 2025 and makes progressive plans, it will still take them time to catch up with their competitors, and there is no saying as to where this AI hype will go. If it dies down before Intel can get a strong hold, that would mean more trouble for the chipmakers.
