K-pop sensation Jung Kook recently made an appearance on NBC's 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon, where he expressed his desire to world tour as a solo artist. The 26-year-old artist recently released his solo album 'Goldern'.

When asked about the possibility of a solo world tour, he expressed his eagerness but mentioned, "I don't think I have enough songs for that."

Based on midweek data, the album is set to make its debut at an impressive No. 3 on the UK charts, marking the highest charting solo release from a BTS member.

"Golden" features the hit single "Seven," a collaboration with Latto, which recently achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the fastest track to reach one billion streams on Spotify in just 108 days. As of Monday, November 6, the single has been certified platinum by RIAA, further cementing its popularity.

The release of "Golden" has been met with great anticipation and acclaim, earning the top spot in this week's new music poll on Billboard, with an impressive 88% of the vote.

Explaining the album's theme, Jung Kook emphasised the universal emotion of love and its transformation, stating, "I wanted to show the change of this emotion. And also in terms of versatility. I wanted to become a solo artist who can pull off a lot of genres, and that's what I try to do here."

During his appearance on the show, Jung Kook discussed the origin of the album's title, his proudest achievements, and the positive feedback he received from his BTS bandmates when they heard "Golden."

The conversation took a light-hearted turn when Jung Kook mentioned the unexpected success of a Weverse video featuring him sleeping, which garnered millions of views. He humbly described it as "a little embarrassing."

At the end of the show, Jung Kook performed the album track "Standing Next to You," a song that he believes best showcases his vocals and performance as an artist, making it a natural choice for the album's lead track.
