According to The Hill, Hulk Hogan recounted a conversation with US President- elect Donald Trump at a rally back in the month of October, where Donald Trump had expressed that Hulk Hogan would be great for the role. The US President’s Council on Physical Fitness which promotes healthy eating and physical activity was recently renewed by US President Joe Biden until September 30, 2025.

Hulk Hogan explained that their discussion at Madison Square Garden revolved around nutrition and the poor quality of food available in US, which he believes has negatively impacted children's health, asserted The Hill. His comments come shortly after Donald Trump appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an anti-vaccine activist, to head the Department of Health and Human Services while raising concerns among public health experts about potential impacts on government health policies.

As a strong supporter of Donald Trump, Hulk Hogan received enthusiastic applause during his speech at the Republican National Convention, noted The Hill.
