Huge sum: This is how much Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles home where he died was sold for
Matthew Perry's Los Angeles home, where he died, was sold nearly a year later. Anita Verma-Lallian, a real estate developer, purchased the property for investment purposes.

According to the Independent, Perry's death was initially reported as a drowning before the Los Angeles County medical examiner determined that it was caused by the acute effects of ketamine and the presence of opioids in his system.
Perry originally paid $6 million for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood in 2020. The property was constructed in 1965, and he later added an outdoor pool as part of his extensive renovations.
According to the New York Times, Anita Verma-Lallian, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based real estate developer and movie producer, is the home's newest owner.

In the same year, he sold his 9,300-square-foot penthouse in Los Angeles, which he had bought for $20 million in 2017.
The actor had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety, but the additional unsupervised doses were what ultimately killed him, according to a seven-month investigation conducted by LA authorities after Perry's cause of death was made public.
