How to watch the first spacewalk of two ISS astronauts on Friday? Here are the details
January 20, seal the date when, for the first time, two astronauts from the International Space Station (ISS) walk out to install new hardware to the station’s exterior.

NASA will live stream the entire spacewalk of the astronauts along with commentary to explain it. Check below how to catch the entire operation.
NASA Astronaut Nicole Mann and Koichi Wakata of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will perform their first spacewalk out of ISS. Their spacewalk will be part of the project for upgrading the space station’s power system in which new solar arrays called iROSAs will be installed. Since 2021, four out of a total of six iROSAs have been installed.
However this time Mann and Wakata will only be installing two mounting platforms which will be used for installing arrays in the future. They will complete the installation of the mounting platform on the 1B power channel that began during a previous spacewalk.
During the spacewalk, Mann will be wearing an unmarked white suit, while Wakata will be wearing a white suit with red stripes.
NASA TV will live-streamed the spacewalk which you can watch either by using the video embedded here or on NASA TV YouTube channel.
Spacewalk coverage will begin on Friday, January 20, at 7 am ET (4 am PT) and it is scheduled to start at 8:15 am ET (5:15 am PT). Coverage is estimated to run for around six and a half hours.
