While fans have eagerly anticipated a potential final showdown between Alcaraz and world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, both players must first navigate their respective semi-finals. Auger-Aliassime leads the head-to-head 2–1 against Sinner, though he was soundly defeated in their most recent meeting in Cincinnati.
